The challenge for this Government Logistics team was to move from being perceived as an adjunct to the main organisation to becoming a core function, instrumental in designing and making change happen across the entire IT Services business – from Logistics silos to, ultimately, an efficient and effective end-to-end supply chain. Felber Consulting assisted the team and their key stakeholders in fully understanding the scale of the challenge in making this strategy work, and most importantly agreeing and articulating the implications for both operational and professional aspects of the business.
We also helped to launch the first stage of a change programme which focused on achieving some rapid business outcomes or ‘early wins’, coaching the teams in how to approach each area and make an immediate impact whilst motivating and engaging busy colleagues. Importantly Felber also worked with HR and Logistics leadership to ensure that this approach to managing change was embedded and would continue to flourish.
