Our leadership team
We would like to introduce you to our leadership team – Richard, Suzanne, Simon, John and Peter – each of whom have an impressive track record in professional services and consulting. We share a passion to work with ambitious small, medium and large organisations to help them achieve their goals but in a way that is flexible, suits their circumstances and ensures that they develop the confidence and skills to do things for themselves. Whether it’s supporting a small company to take their first steps into the world of public sector tendering or helping a large professional services team create the headroom to grow, we enjoy seeing our clients flourish.
Richard led Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising Worldwide where he was responsible for 63 companies with over five thousand staff in 27 countries. Richard has represented institutional investors and chaired a number of media and hi-tech businesses such as Pavilion Books, Powerway (Symantec), and the leading dotcom Public Relations consultants Connors Communications.
He is Chairman or Director of companies including Digital View Group and International Entertainment Distribution and was until recently Chairman of Affle, the leading mobile marketing company in Asia Pacific. Major institutional investors in Affle include Microsoft and Dentsu Docomo.
Richard has advised some of the World’s leading media companies and uses his extensive experience to guide the Felber team as we continue to build our capabilities and our client base.
John works with a portfolio of SME clients and partners helping them create connections and build capabilities that change the way business is acquired and delivered. He leads our Public Sector tendering and bid support services. These range from a subscription-based search service through to full -blown support at the different stages of a bid and even to the creation of a joint Felber /client team that becomes your own in-house consulting team. He tailors the service according to a clients situation, ambition, budget and wish for self-reliance in the future.
John has 30 years’ experience in the IT and defence communications environment leading and delivering complex programmes for MoD, Central & Local Government and Utilities and working for companies including EDS, BT, Accenture, Atos Origin and HP. He knows what is needed to be successful in the Public Sector and uses this experience to help organisations bidding into the Public Sector to effectively position themselves against the competition. A driven team builder and leader, he has designed and established innovative network and communications capabilities within organizations resulting in improved delivery performance and cost reduction for the client and parent companies alike.
Dr Suzanne Felber
Suzanne helps organisations bring their (IT-enabled) strategy to life. She challenges them to identify and fully understand the implications of their strategy and she supports them in designing and planning those key things that need to change. She then coaches and motivates teams in the implementation and delivery of the initial tangible outcomes leaving them able to do things for themselves. This flexible, outcome-based approach to change works particularly well where success or failure is down to busy front-line teams.
Suzanne has 25 years’ experience in management consulting working with varied and international clients, most recently growing and leading global consulting teams at Fujitsu, BT, Gemini Consulting (now CGEY) and PA Consulting.
As an experienced leader of professional services teams, Suzanne has worked with Simon Teale to establish, launch and support our Kimble partnership and services. She also supports ICT, consulting and other professional services organisations (or those aspiring to have this capability) to develop their strategy and value proposition and to build and implement the range of capabilities needed to achieve it, using the ‘agile’ change and transformation skills for which she is known.
Peter brings many years of experience in account management, resource management and operations management to his role as Business Manager for Felber Consulting.
As well as supporting SME’s, Peter also combines business management with his sales skills, tenacity and an enthusiasm for sport in the facilitation of development projects for sports and other clubs. He has recently secured the funding and managed the implementation of a £0.5 million changing room development project for NPL Sports Club in Teddington.
Simon is passionate about helping professional services and consulting organisations to achieve their growth ambitions. He drives our Kimble sales and implementation services and has to date led over 60 implementations for organisations based in 15 countries and territories. His Kimble passion stems from the issues we have all faced in the past, in leading global consulting businesses, with disparate systems and the constant challenge this presents to properly forecast and to control a consistent operational approach.
Simon has much international consulting experience. He was a founder of an Asia Pacific consulting practice based in Beijing and has helped UK and Chinese businesses establish a presence in each country. He has 20 years international industrial and consulting experience with major automotive, retail banking and chemical multinationals and also KPMG and Atos Consulting where he was the Practice Lead for Strategy and Business Transformation. He has worked extensively with manufacturing and government clients with whom he has supported initiatives such as strategic planning, IT-enabled business transformation and supply chain programmes.
